Dr. Ivelisse Lopez

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she also pursued her Pre – Medical and Doctor’s degree at the University of Puerto Rico Rec into de Ciencias Medicas. Obtained her specialty in Internal Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO and her Gastroenterology – Hepatology, and Nutrition fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center University of Texas Houston.

Central Florida has been her home since 2001. Her medical career has been highlighted by more than 10 years of private practice, while being the Chief of Gastroenterology at Orlando Regional Medical Center and worked as the Chief of Gastroenterology at the Orlando VA Medical Center Besides performing the regular endoscopic procedures (upper endoscopy and colonoscopy), she also performed others like capsule endoscopy, manometry, and ERCP.
